Dare to Wear : Blazers!

Hi everyone!!! I decided to named this post: Dare to Wear.  In posts like this one I am going to give you some trendy ideas that you should dare to wear.  Today's Dare to Wear is Blazers.  You should probably think that wearing blazers would give you a formal and "off to work" look.  But this is not always what you can get with them.  Although yes, you are going to look formal and kind of 'serious', they would give you a polished look and would make a simple outfit appropriate to go outside almost to every place.  There are multiple options that you can consider when talking about a blazer. They come short, long, oversized, classic cut, embellished, with/without buttons, with/without pockets, and many more.  And the best part of it is that you do not have to spend a lot in them, because Forever 21 has a lot of options in great prices.  Feel free to grab them in a bright color (like red or green) and wear them with pale or dark colors (such as beige, black or white).  They are a great piece to wear with a plain tee, jeans, and booties or pumps (make sure to add some nice jewelry).  Also you can wear a LBD (little black dress) and add up a short blazer and heels to give the look a sophisticated twist perfect for a date night or to just hang with friends.  Try them long and loose with a short dress or skirt with ballerina slippers or flats for everyday outfit (college, school or to go shopping).  And.... if you do not like blazers at all, you can always try cardigans which comes in many fabrics, from lace to wool.  They would give your outfit an instant cute and/or feminine look.  Particularly, I like them in black, and loose.  I wear them with a pretty blouse and shorts, for a fresh look; or with a simple blouse and jeans, for a sport look.  In one of the books I talked about in one of my posts (Book Club), Style from Lauren Conrad, there are several ideas that can be used to approach different looks with blazers.  Dare to wear them, you would not regret.  Smile :)
