Birchbox vs. ipsy...my glam - Round 2!

Hi everyone!!! This is Round 2 of Birchbox vs. ipsy (link for Round 1). As you may know I am subscribed to both beauty boxes for $10.00 a month with no extra charges. I personally love them both, but my favorite is ipsy. I think ipsy is more girly, and the products or samples are better than those from Birchbox. Ankled Pointy Heels - Yay or Nay?

Hey everyone!!! So you must have seen that pointy heels are so in right now. High end brands such as Valentino, Alexander Wang, and Christian Louboutin have developed their gorgeous designs. Celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Gwenth Paltrow, and Kristen Stewart had brought them to life. 

I immediately felt in love with Christian Louboutin's piece, and had to make the purchase from Shoedazzle's version! I loved them, and I grabbed another design which is more feminine, and cute!

What do you think about them? I really love them both, but my favorites are the red/orange ones! Unfortunately both styles are sold out :( you may now know why! (link for blue, and pink ones). Actually, Shoedazzle have cute trendy styles at super affordable prices, I payed 80$ for both of them. I am looking forward on pulling an outfit with them to show you!

Feel Good, Look Good - Healthy Eating Habits!

Hello everyone!!! How was your Mother's Day Weekend? I spend the weekend with my family, and studying for two tests I had today (Monday). 

Basically, I wanted to share with you my new life style. I am lately into eating healthy, and I have to confess it's the best decision I've taken so far. Being able to incorporate healthy food to my life has been beneficial in many ways, starting from a few lost pounds (about 3 to 5), to being able to combat a cold in about three days (regularly a cold for me means being for up to two weeks sick!). I am more than happy with the results, and I am making healthy eating a HABIT, not a diet! I want to replenish my entire body with food that is able to help me feel, and look good. I have more energy, I drink loads of water, and I don't have the urge to eat the first thing that comes handy when I feel hungry. I share with you a few of my favorite plates to motivate, and show you what I am talking about. Going grocery shopping, preparing your food, and instagraming your food - pictures, it all has been a great journey which I've enjoyed a lot. I hope you can join me and the thousands of people who based their life into what eating healthy involves!

- LOADS, and LOADS of fruits! I am sucker for sweets, so I am in heaven every time I prepare one of those fruit plates! As you can see I incorporate reduced fat peanut butter, 2% milk fat cottage cheese, unsalted mixed nuts, almonds, cinnamon (which boosts your metabolism!), organic oats, dried cranberries, and sesame seeds (which add extra vitamin D). Fruits are my favorites, I usually have them for breakfast or dinner because I am out most of the day and they are a quick, healthy, and delicious alternative to fuel my stomach before leaving!

- This has been a life saver and is named Overnight Oats! I took this recipe from www.laurenconrad.com and it is pretty handy. You just have to add 1/2 cup of non - fat greek yogurt of your preference, 1/2 of oats (I use organic oats), 2/3 of almond milk (I use unsweetened vanilla flavored), and pinch of cinnamon. You just mixed everything in an air - tight container and refrigerate overnight. In the morning top with some fresh fruit, and enjoy!

- Turkey, and ham salad with vinaigrette dressing. Of course, it is better to have no dressing at all but if you are not used to lettuce flavor itself just add the "healthiest" one (which is NOT caesar!).

- Sweet potato wedges are a delicious, and healthy side you can add. Just cut the sweet potato, add olive oil, salt and pepper, and bake in the oven for approximately 25 minutes. 

- Stuffed green bell pepper, and salmon. A delicious tip: add almonds to the sautéed veggies you use to stuff the bell pepper, they get all roasty and tasty! 

- For a healthy - quick snack grab a handful of almonds!

Hey!!! I've been obsessed over layering lately, and the easiest way to layer is to wear a dress with a jacket, or blazer, or cardigan! I decided to show you these 5 6 different dresses with some layering possibilities to create 5 different -yet chic, and lovely- styles! Which one you like the most?

- Blue maxi dress, leather jacket, and knuckle rings! The leather jacket gives the outfit and edgy look.

- This might be one of my favorite combos! I'm craving a cargo jacket long time ago. These girly dresses are perfect for Spring, and the cargo jackets compliment the sweet look perfectly.

- Neon, faux fur, and leather. Does it get better than this? This is sexiness as it maximum expression.

- Sequin dress with a white blazer screams: put me into the dance floor, and have some fun!

 

- Chic dress, paired with sexy heels, and varsity jacket? Yes, please! This will make you feel amazingly chic, and casual at the same time. Love those looks!

Spain Trip - A Piece of Heaven!

Hey!!! I spent such a wonderful week on Spain! As soon as I came back, college was receiving me with 3 tests on Tuesday, and lots of research laboratory work for the rest of the week. But, here I am, I survived haha! I wish I could show you ALL the pictures I took, but there are lots of them. I loved Spain, everything is beautiful, and so inspiring. We went to Madrid, and Seville. I had a blast, and I am really thankful for that! I hope you like the pictures, and the outfits. How was your Spring Break?

- A few shots from our second hotel in Madrid, Hotel Porta América, Silken. The view is from the 13th floor where there's a nightclub named SkyNight, A-mazing! 

- Spain sure knows how to make you sin! These embellished the showcase of a confectionery in Seville. I tasted a few and I loved them.

- Camo fever came to stay, and here I am wearing some camo pants!

- I went all girly with this Forever 21 skirt (old), and this Aeropostale denim shirt (old). This outfit was so comfy, and cute!

- These were my favorite ones! From left to right (first 2 pictures): Céline replica t-shirt, H&M skirt, and black leggings / (next 2 pictures): Zara studded buttoned-up shirt, black skirt (old), black tights, and black mel slippers (link).

- Churros and hot chocolate! This was delicious, I think the picture speaks for itself. SO SO SO yummy!

- These picture were taken from the 13th floor nightclub in Hotel Porta América Silken in Madrid, Spain. There was an entire section of glass floor. Scary, and so cool at the same time! Can you spot my clear-plastic clutch from Bershka? ;-)

- This was one of my favorite things from Spain. This brand is named: Uno de 50, and it's amazingly beautiful.

- I love this Custo Barcelona's coat my sister-in-law handed me until I got mine (see picture below).

- Desigual coat. I am in love with it! So chic, and elegant!
